Key Creatives Credit:

  • In order to receive key creativity eligibility, applicants must recognize in their Head and Tail Credits, the names of the Key Albertan Creatives employed by their production as they appear in the final production.

  • Credits are required for each episode of a series. If the credits for all episodes are the same, then written confirmation signed by the producer to that effect, plus one copy of an episode with credits listed, will suffice.

Key Creative Trainees:

  • Employing two or more Qualified Trainees in a Key Creative position may qualify your production for a Key Albertan Creative. For example, a trainee director and trainee editor qualify for eligibility as one Key Albertan Creative.

  • In order to qualify, Qualified Trainees must receive an appropriate, industry-standard on-screen credit in the credits of the Production.

  • For trainees without an on-screen credit, the AMDF must receive a signed copy of a reference letter from the Key Creative responsible for overseeing their training. It is advised that the Key Creative is advised of this requirement before production.

  • A Key Creative Qualified Trainee Letter template is available.
