Best Wishes to everyone in the New Year!

Alberta Culture Days 2016 is taking place September 30 to October 2, 2016. We have heard from some organizations that they are already beginning to plan for this Celebration. You can obtain ideas by going to our Tools & Tips Section.

If at all possible it is easier to plan events when you can partner with other organizations. Partnership and collaborations are a great way to put on an amazing Culture Days event in 2016.

Thanks for your support over the year.

Alberta Culture Days 2015

Thank you for all your amazing work during Alberta Culture Days 2015. Despite the challenges faced this year, event planners put on almost 900 events in more than 70 communities across Alberta over the Culture Days weekend. It was a successful year, and we thank you for your part in making it happen

Alberta Culture Calendar

As we look to the future of Alberta’s Culture Days, we also wanted to let you know there will be some changes. After six years of providing cultural event information to Albertans, we will be shutting down the Alberta Culture Calendar website and Mobile App on December 21, 2015.

We hope that you will continue to let people know of the great events taking place in your community. In an effort to help you do that, we will be contacting you in the coming months with a list of alternative event calendars for you to use in the future.

Once again, we would like to thank you for your continued work in supporting Alberta’s culture, and we look forward to hearing about your Culture Days events next year.
