Premier's Council on Arts and Culture
The Premier's Council on Arts and Culture, which falls under the ministry of Culture and Community Spirit,
is the advisory body tasked with guiding the communication, implementation, and evaluation of
The Spirit of Alberta.
Launched on December 9, 2008, this 11-member council will provide a voice for Albertans
in significant matters pertaining to culture and play a key role in facilitating and maintaining critical partnerships
with the private sector, cultural organizations, agencies and foundations.
