Cultural Industries - our integrated approach recognizes the value and potential for growth of Alberta's cultural industries to develop a world class creative hub. Our initiatives seek to deliver this keystone goal through sustainable development including the need to equip Alberta's cultural industries for future prosperity.
Aboriginal Consultation The program facilitates consultation with Aboriginal communities where resource development may adversely affect significant Aboriginal traditional use sites that appear on the Listing of Historic Resources, and helps resolve land use conflicts and to ensure these sites preserved for the future.
Archaeological Survey This program regulates industrial development activity through review of private and public sector development proposals, and archaeological research and conservation activities through a permit system that assesses the significance of archaeological site.
Book Publishers Supports book publishing companies in Alberta by assisting with operating expenses.

Community Spirit Donation Grant Program To acknowledge the important contributions of Albertans to support non-profit and charitable organizations in Alberta.
Cultural Industries Organizations Project Supports projects undertaken by registered Alberta companies and not-for-profit organizations that create and produce new cultural work.
Enhanced Charitable Tax Credit The enhanced charitable tax credit provides an opportunity for a donor to donate to his/her favourite registered charity. In fact, the donor may consider donating more because of the enhanced charitable tax credit. As a result, the charity receives more.
Film Development Provides Alberta film producers with a percentage of expenditures for films made in Alberta.
Magazine Publishers Supports magazine publishers in Alberta by assisting with editorial and pre-press expenses.
Post Secondary Institutions Assists post secondary institutions or their affiliated organizations which are not funded by Alberta Learning with projects and programs having community impact and artistic merit.
Sound Recording Labels Supports sound recording labels by assisting with annual operating expenses for the development and release of new recordings, and with music publishing copyrights
